Convicted terrorist Michael McKevitt has brought fresh legal proceedings aimed at securing his early release from Portlaoise Prison. Last month, McKevitt, aged 65, from Beech Park, Blackrock, Co Louth, sought an inquiry under Article 40 of the Constitution.
